The only HRG I remember was a crude (by today's standards) white metal kit by Mikansue (or was it Motorkits?). This one is by Esval and, of course, I had to have green. Check out the hood straps, reminiscent of when early Rio models actually used a thin strip of rawhide to replicate this. HRG made 241 cars from 1936 to 1956 and, per Wiki, it's estimated that 225 still survive, several of which are used in vintage car races.

Wow Harv. This one I have to have. I do have a Mikansue version but it is pretty crude now.  I got a drive in a HRG at a show in the York University campus (Toronto) in the 1970s. A unique experience.
