I received the Esval '58 Packard 58L 2drht. in blue and '57 Studebaker Commander Provincial wagon in lt. green/dk. blue from Dave Gilbert @ Toy Car Geek yesterday.  Both are very impressive models and I recommend them; IMHO they represent good value for the money.  They will look fantastic in my Packard/Studebaker display cabinet.

I love these, long overdue IMO.   Congrats Jack!   I'm thinking there's a '58 Studebaker 2-dr hardtop in Esval's future, right?  😎 😎

I'd vote for the 1957 Studebaker hardtop or even a four door sedan.  Better looking headlamps than the 1958.

They never made one John.  The Golden Hawk was Studebaker's only hardtop in 1957.

@bob-jackman Mine has the pale blue roof as well Bob; the pic shows almost white which is incorrect.  The Broadmoor wagon you are getting soon is an attractive and fairly unusual color combo, plus it has the cool roof rack..

I recently received both of the Studebaker wagon models. They are very nice, not sure which one I like best.

You're right!  But they did do two door wagons that year, some with blanked in rear side windows as a sedan delivery,   And there was the no trim base line Scotsmans for a half year.

@jack-dodds Jack, I was torn between the Provincial for it's colors and it's color divide but the roof rack won out. I may go back and pick up the Provincial. Thanks for the clarification on the roof color. As pale as the color is I can see where it can look white.

John Q.; I wasn't aware that Studebaker ever produced this wagon in sedan delivery form; they must be super rare now.

No idea how many were produced but it is at least pictured in my definitive Crestline book on Studebakers.  The book also shows a 1959 Lark two door wagon as a sedan delivery.   I am angling  get a 3D file created of a Lark 2 door wagon to join my custom made four door wagon.
