You are a real Facel Vega fan and I really appreciate how they are displayed. From your PICS it appears that the Neo offers the most fidelity to the 1:1. Is this true or need I take a second look at one of the other companies offerings?
Models = Miracles in miniature = Holding History in ones hand Cheers and Happy Collecting, Steve
Hi Steve. Of course, the Neo Facel range could be the best 1/43 models you can already find. Provence Moulage are also very nice, but they are based in old Starter kits and they're one step down from Neo. Also are very hard to find. Ixo -under Altaya label- and Nostalgie, with models made in diecast, play in another league. Mostly of Neo Facel Vega can be found in several webs and are not expensive -around 65-75 euros-.
You can take a look on closer pics of all Facel Vega in my collection in this link to my blog...
The man behind the Facel Vega brand was the French engineer Jean Daninos. Previously to the building of the 1st Facel Vega cars, he made some special coachwork to other cars. Here are some of them:
Ford Comete by Altaya; Bentley MK VI Facel Metallon Coupé by Matrix; and Simca 8 Sport Cabriolet by Norev.
And here we have a family pic of the 1st vehicles of Jean Daninos.
