Buckminster Fuller's Dynamaxion was a hit at the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. It was powered by a rear mounted Ford V8 with front wheel drive. Three prototypes were built.

@jkuvakas I'm kind of embarrassed that I don't remember. There's a logo on the dust cover that is comprised of two red shapes aligned so they create an"S". Could it be "Spark"?

Thanks, Ruch. It sounds like Spark's stylized "s".

If you want to see another replica without the girl, go down to the Lane post-COVID!

I missed out on this, and incredibly there are none to be found on the aftermarket. People must really like it.

This is a Bizarre model No. B1014. I got mine in 2015 and seem to recall I posted it here then. Short memories from some of you (tsk, tsk), but others have reposted my pics on Facebook recently.

I ordered one of these as soon as it was announced. And it has been perched at eye level on my desk from the moment it arrived.

I like it, Harv, even if I do remember the earlier post.  It reminds me of my Manoil 706, produced at their New York plant in the late 1930's. (Click on the picture for enlargement.)  I have a hunch I may have made this same comment and used a similar picture "back when."
