For those who like the Dongguan Pierce Arrow except for the drum headlights. . .

I found (sorry, I'm kind of slow) that Legacy in the "Car List & Reviews" section has the forthcoming ESVAL Pierce Arrow offered for reserved down payments of $5. This is pictured in the 1:1 version, but that's enough to show that this is the 1930 Pierce Arrow Model B "Roadsterin" EM 441, and that model has the fender-mounted headlights. It should look great displayed beside the Dongguan sedan. I just reserved mine. I have found that Legacy Motors is quick on notification and mailing when these models come into stock.

There are very few Pierce Arrow models in our scale available, and Brooklin's fine models are all of the latter versions.

It would be nice (prepare for broken-record-plea) to have more pre-1925 models of US cars.

Agree too.

I'd love to have a model of the '25 Model T roadster I was driven up to the treeline on Mount Hood, OR in 1970 in. A trip I've never forgotten and a highlight of the month I spent in the US then. Wish I'd thought to take a photo of the car!

Roger, I looked around and found these three. (pic)

Roadsters show up now and then, but most are from the earlier years of the Model T (as in "copper/brass radiator"). Happy hunting!

The drum headlights were what made it particularly attractive to me.

These were much rarer and hence more interesting. I had a good friend with a 1927 Pierce with these lights. Carried the build spec sheet with him to every judged car show.
