.....here are lists of the first 40 cars available in Europe by subscription. Some are great, some slightly less so, and some have already appeared as Ixo/Premium X models or in other subscription series (like the one in Mexico). Happy hunting!

How many are out now?  Did you get any?  I see they are in the UK also!  https://www2.deagostini.com/uk/products/american-cars-1-43/CA2154000000

My Chrysler just showed up, and I posted the Rambler Rebel last week. I've ordered a few more.

So wish these were available by subscription in the US too.

@karl

Officially they're up to #29 1970 AMC Rebel "Machine". I see pre-release models listed, #30 1987 Buick Grand National
and #31 1969 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. There was a #32 1966 Mercury Cyclone sold on February 20th.
The frustrating thing is they are listed at affordable prices with high shipping costs. I try to economize by purchasing multiples, but usually can't find a seller with the ones I want except for one. He charges 17.50 Euros shipping for the first and 17 Euros for each additional. Some bargain!

I have about 10 of these cars from the American collection and  several similar from the Mexican and Argentine partsworks. I too wonder why these are not available in the States considering they're also marketing this series in Mexico.

Here's a link to a site that keeps tabs on these partwork series (with pics).

Harv; I checked out the models on the list you provided.  Some look very good (I have bought the 69 GTO, Hurst Chrysler and 70 Rebel) but some others look inferior, at least to my eye.  What is your impression?

@jack-dodds Pretty much the same. I try to avoid the ones with oversize wipers and antennae. Or if I THINK they will appear as better detailed Premium X models, like the Chargers, '67-'68 Mustangs, '70 Chevelles, and Challengers were.

@jaygolan In France the collection is via Altaya, in other countries it appears as under the DeAgostini umbrella. I see #31 is the Camaro ZL1, which was red in the Mexican series and metallic blue as a WhiteBox model. I wonder what color it will be in this series?

@mg-harv

It's metallic blue. Metallic paints don't tend to show well in 1/43 scale.

I have the Chrysler 300, considering I paid way to much for it. The model is OK, well represented and not modeled before, but it is not worth what I paid so I will be more cautious with any of the future items. I'd like the Rebel Machine but I am not paying $40 shipping so I will have to wait and see. Besides this selection of models are not necessarily the main focus of my collection.
