Among contemporary resin and partworks Vanguards is still my favourite diecast brand.
Recently after 3 months waiting I has been able to acquire Ford Capri Mk2 3.0 X- Pack.
This is a special version of Capri Mk2 equipped with a special exterior parts, wheels and V6 Essex engine.
As all models by Vanguards this one is quite well detailed and looks very lovely. It has black matt vynil roof and abdolutely magnificent modelled wheels. Only 1600 units were produced.
Despite occupation of market by resin models which are very expensive and unreluable Vanguards shows that it can continue production of precision diecast models.
Sadly, new models of this manufacturer aren't obtained in our stores anymore and it seems to be that in future I'll be able to buy Vanguards only on the secondary market.

@jack-dodds Very interesting that Vanguards still makes metal baseplates. This feature adds models a charm.
