That Can-Am Spider is just a little weird looking - with that spare the back
You think that Can-Am car was weird with the tire on the back....well take a look at the spare tire setup on this Ferrari (the model is done superbly by Looksmart)
The extra tires and additional lights do make it look like a rally car. However, I doubt you would see Ferrari on many car rallies, especially ones with less than ideal roads.
Ben, you're absolutely spot-on regarding Brumm. They have faithful fidelity to the car but are rudimentary at best. The 1/43 Jouef Collection features finer detail and opening panels and is much better detailed:
Thank you for the link and I also checked out your other post - those DMH & SCM replicas are KILLER! Pricing is higher, of course, but still decent for the exquisite detailing!!
Jouef even got the very rare P3 Lucas fuel injection correct!
And the twin distributor setup.
When Ferrari sold the P3's to other teams, they stripped the Lucas fuel injection system off the car and replaced it with carburetors to keep the Scuderia team at the advantage....Enzo was a smart man!
I got a pretty good deal on the DHM and SCM models, but they still weren't cheap.

Looking online, I see DHM less expensive than SCM but BOTH are incredibly detailed! Just BEAUTIFUL!
The Jouef models would be nice except for the hugely oversize and ugly hinges on the engine cover. If they would have just made it removeable it would have been a whole lot better. Hard to believe the same company made a 911 RS with real-aspect door hinges.
