That Can-Am Spider is just a little weird looking - with that spare the back

You think that Can-Am car was weird with the tire on the back....well take a look at the spare tire setup on this Ferrari (the model is done superbly by Looksmart)

@ben-lampson That can't be good for the aerodynamics!  😯

Yeah....that tire would be worse than strapping your mother-in-law to the trunk lid (depending on how big your mother-in-law is, of course 😍)

Looking at the additional front projectors and the badging, this car looks like it was prepped as a rally car.

The extra tires and additional lights do make it look like a rally car. However, I doubt you would see Ferrari on many car rallies, especially ones with less than ideal roads.

Not totally unheard of. But, I agree, it would be rare.

@culture Probably the Tour de France, note that this 250LM is also licensed for the road. A Ferrari road car in a rally is not unheard of.\\

Plus Technomodel has several 308 GTB rally cars coming out.

Ford vs Ferrari really was a great movie. I, too, love the Ferrari 330 P models.

I've collected the 1:43 Jouef series and it contains four Ferrari 330 P4 models - last four, top, right:

024

And to commemorate their 1,2,3 win at the 1967 24 Hrs of Daytona, these 1:43's by Brumm:

1 The Real Cars B&W
2 The Models B&W
3 The Real Cars Color
4 The Models Color

Also Brumm:

Thanks for posting these Tony.....I looked at the Brumm P3's and they just weren't detailed enough for me...your mileage may vary.

The Redlines, Looksmarts, and BBR's are much better, but harder to find and demand the higher prices.

I have a BBR P3 on the way from Australia....it wasn't cheap 🤩 It will look great next to my Redlines and Looksmarts.

Please check out my new post on the new DMH and SCM models

Ben, you're absolutely spot-on regarding Brumm. They have faithful fidelity to the car but are rudimentary at best. The 1/43 Jouef Collection features finer detail and opening panels and is much better detailed:

011
012
013

Thank you for the link and I also checked out your other post - those DMH & SCM replicas are KILLER! Pricing is higher, of course, but still decent for the exquisite detailing!!

Jouef even got the very rare P3 Lucas fuel injection correct!

And the twin distributor setup.

When Ferrari sold the P3's to other teams, they stripped the Lucas fuel injection system off the car and replaced it with carburetors to keep the Scuderia team at the advantage....Enzo was a smart man!

I got a pretty good deal on the DHM and SCM models, but they still weren't cheap.

Looking online, I see DHM less expensive than SCM but BOTH are incredibly detailed! Just BEAUTIFUL!

The Jouef models would be nice except for the hugely oversize and ugly hinges on the engine cover. If they would have just made it removeable it would have been a whole lot better. Hard to believe the same company made a 911 RS with real-aspect door hinges.
