OK, so recently there’d been some discussion about skyrocketing prices of some Frobly models, specifically the ‘58 Packard Hawk. As a known oddball collector, this one has been on my wants list for some time. But not that long ago, I walked away when they were selling in the $50-$75 range. With just under 6 hours to go, this one is rapidly approaching the eye bulging threshold of 200 bucks!

What am I missing? What’s driving this demand?

It's over $250 now, and I'm wondering.   I have a similar model, but I think mine is better on the detailing.  I've had it for several years.

The Packard Hawk on the 'Bay ended at $461.89.  A similar one in red last month sold at $718.  Wow!

The Frobly Hawk is as awkward looking as the real car.   I hope I have one, and if I do, it will be on ebay as soon as I can get it listed!
