This is a very attractive model in both colors offered. I wasn't keen on the grey version at first but it grew on me and I eventually sprung for it....no regrets.

To my eye, the grey version seems more period correct. Growing up in the forties and fifties I can honestly say that I never remember factory painted cars being painted bright red unless they were service vehicles or used in businesses.

I agree Bob, the gray looks more period correct. I have a soft spot for red and this jumped out and grabbed me-I had to have it. 😍
