From My Brooklin Collection... Post #024
As I have said before, when I discovered Brooklin Models I was amazed at the variety of models they offered from the 30s & 40s. I have always had a fascination with this era of the Automobile, and I was very excited about adding those of interest to my collection. Now the down side of that interest was the number of models that I wanted. My wallet was going to be busy, LOL!
In early 2015, Brooklin introduced the 1941 Pontiac Streamliner Sedan, I wasted no time and ordered one as soon as it was issued. With that, I have to say I had never seen a 1:1 1941 Pontiac prior to receiving the model. Brooklin followed up the sedan with a coupe and a wagon, all of which I have. Then in 2016, they reissued the sedan in the BML line in a new color, basic black. At first I passed on this one, for awhile I was trying to limit duplicate models just because of a color change. That didn't last, and when I thought about how good this model might look with black wall tires instead of the whitewalls Brooklin fitted it with, I ordered one. Now with the black wall tires installed, I am as much impressed with this model as I was all with all of the previously issued '41 Pontiac models.
