From My Brooklin Collection... Post #027

A few years ago, I learned of this Buick model. I also learned that it was rare and difficult to find. I bid on it a few times, but that proved unsuccessful as well as pricey. Then in late 2019, I came across another one. I did as I always do, assess my need, my monies and establish a limit. With every auction I try to keep myself in control and bid only to my limit. I do my very best not to get carried away by the excitement and overbid, sometimes that doesn't always work, LOL! This time it did. I kept my cool despite the fact this model came from the Dick Browne Collection. Fortunately for me, it seemed that this model wasn't as prized by other collectors at the time, so bidding was lower than I expected and I got it for a very good price.

Now this is a really nice model, one I really know nothing about as a 1:1. I've only seen a couple real '39 Buicks, but they were very interesting. This model is no exception, as are the other '39 Buicks in my collection. With it also coming from the Dick Browne Collection makes it even more special.
