I revisited these photos and made some minor adjustments to the presentation-moved them to a new album.

I loe that color combo. I think it's the best of the Brooklin releases for this model.

John, your images of this Cadillac really show the car well. Here is a picture of the actual car together with one of your pictures taken from a similar perspectives. Beautiful Cadillac, nice model by Brooklin. One of my favorites.
It’s always a pleasure to see your posts, John.

Here's a '55 that might just have been missed. It's the Greenlight Godfather car (from the movie), and it seems I've never taken it out of its packaging.
This color combo was quite rare in my region back in the day; I only recall seeing one and it was around for very many years. I have this Brooklin and it is gorgeous.
But it isn't Driftwood, just gray, maybe Cabot Gray is close. I don't think there was enough tan pigment in the paint, and BRK's own website calls it gray now. Look again at the ACL website and David's picture above. Too bad, if they had nailed the Driftwood color it would have been outstanding.
My recollection of the actual car I mentioned earlier is very close to the color Brooklin did. I recall seeing the pic of the real car David posted on this forum earlier this year Harv and at that time I assumed it was a bit overexposed; it seemed a bit too light to me. For what it's worth.....lol.
Here's the Driftwood chip from the ACL site. Sure looks more tan than gray to me. Probably why Brooklin changed the color description. A shame really, would have looked great with the copper roof.
