Sergio always amazes me with his model choices, it's almost like he can read the minds of the collector. Who would have thought that we'd ever see a '61 Mercury model, let alone two of them. The previously issued Comet has been joined by a Monterey. They are both outstanding models.

Issued by the Goldvarg Collection in September 2022. A Limited Edition, #024 of 210 in Green Frost & Sultana White.

What a beauty ! It's a great color for this big '61 Mercury. Yes, Sergio always has an excellent sense with the color and selection of his models.

This is a very nice model; I have the dark red one and love it.

He picks interesting subjects but I can't remember any convertibles.  Are there any?   In the Mercury line, a Comet convertible might be a good one some time.  Or maybe the fairly rate Meteor intermediate car that only lasted a few years.

@john-quilter

He made a couple, the '56 Mercury Montclair, 1964 Cadillac deVille are the only two, he has announced a '61 Impala as well. I am good with it, let others do the convertibles. Sergio variety of "not otherwise done" models is amazing. Models of the cars we saw everyday are far more appealing, like the upcoming '76 Catalina Sedan, OMG! I can't wait.

The 1962 Meteor S-22 HT would be a nice one for Goldvarg to do....something a little bit different.

@karl, for some reason, the link doesn't get us all the way there. For those wanting to see all the Goldvarg convertibles, enter "Goldvarg Convertibles" in the search box at the upper left of the screen.
