I have three '57 Lincoln models in the white metal part of my collection. For me, each is a very nice model and yes, I preferred the overall look of the '56, but the '57 has grown on me with time and they definitely deserve their place in the Lincoln lineup.

Nice set of Lincoln’s.

What a great looking trio.

These all look great and exceptional colors, too. I liked the Lincolns from that year of 1957, although in 1/43 right now, I just have a John Roberts detailed 1956 Lincoln convertible in black.
Wow, the two-door versions are sure nicer looking, in my eyes, than the four door. But all are sharp and photo'ed beautifully!
...not a high point for Lincoln style. Many believe (then & now ) that FoMoCo designers completely ruined the gorgeous 1956 Lincoln with these "hideous" '57 updates. Love 'em or hate 'em.... I, nonetheless, welcome any 1957 Lincoln miniatures in all body styles. 😎 😎 😎
Have all three. Like John, my dislike of the 57 has lessened somewhat but I still consider it a blaspheme when compared to the beautiful 56 Lincolns.
I agree with most detractors of the '57 Lincoln regarding its overdone "stuck on" fins but, like the '59 Caddy, I still like to see it at car shows for its place in automotive design history.

...those are "fight'n words" Jack! 😀 🤨
The 1959 Cadillac is my all-time favorite; there's a world of difference between those two design approaches, concepts & philosophies. The Lincoln is represented of (and appearing ) more as "an after-thought," while the Cadillac was almost a "clean sheet."
Personally, the best feature of '57 Lincolns are its fins. 😎 😎
@chris They are very different from one another for sure Chris but both definitely make a very good representation of the "excess era" of the late 50s. I don't particularly like either car but do appreciate them and enjoy seeing them at car shows.
@ed-davis here are my 57 Premieres. I have two in Horzon Blue/star it’s white and one Dubonet. The Dubonet has a completely detailed interior. The extra blue one is destined to be come a coral convertible in the future.

I've heard that argument "forever." I understand the sentiment but never agreed with it because of the stark differences between 1958 & '59 Cadillacs. No one disputes GM's 1958 excesses - especially Cadillac, but park a '59 (except Fleetwood... LoL ) next to a '58...... and IMO the '59 almost looks naked. 😐 🙄
@chris The '58 Fleetwood, with its mega trim is overdone for sure but to my eye its general styling looks much better than the '59. It's the '57-'58 CDV that I much prefer from that decade. Just one boxer's opinion.....this verbal jousting has really tested my physical boundaries....I need a cruller for an energy boost!
