Here a few solo photos of the brand-new release of GLMs 1958 Packard Hawk. This one is in Parchment White, a Limited Edition #01 of 59. There are six other color combinations issued as well. Each is as fantastic as the next.

When I was trying to select which color of the many offered, this off-white was the only one shown that I couldn't get a sense of what it would look like in hand.  Strangely enough I still am not able to do so even after perusing your excellent pics John.  Maybe the color, which you have earlier stated is very attractive, is just too light to be captured as well as the darker shades.  Not sure......but I look forward to seeing the next one you show us.  Mine, which is copper/beige, hasn't arrived yet but I expect it very soon.

It looks like GLM did a great job with this car.

John, I assume we will see photos of this car in another color. Thanks again for sharing your collection with your excellent photos.

My GLM copper/beige '58 Packard Hawk arrived and I am blown away by the quality and how I lucked out on my color choice; this model is awesome!  Some of us commented the other day that we felt this car likely would look more attractive in 1:43 than 1:1.  Now that I have it in hand I feel even stronger about that.  I love the Studebaker Golden hawk/Silver Hawk cars but not the Packard Hawk nose so much; but this model is a fantastic representative of its era and Packard history and will look great in my display of 1:43 Studebakers and Packards.

While I have never seen the full sized Packard Hawk in white, I do find this model quite attractive John. I would still want the green one but I look forward to a close examination of the other colour offerings. Nice post.

Why is this model missing the rear antennas? Was this optional on the 1:1?
