Thank you for all the kind words and encouragement from the previous post. It's a process forward and back, I guess.

In the meantime, when I can and as promised, a selection of photos that have been ready for a bit. Thanks for looking.

One of my favorite Cadillac models from Brooklin. In hardtop from, it was issued in three color combinations, this one in Hillcrest Green & Inverness Green, one in Olympic Blue & Nassau Blue and from the Pink Collection, Lilac Pink.

Great to see your contribution, John!

I have both of the other colors you mentioned, but not this green one. It's beautiful, and your photography skills show it off to best advantage!

I love this 2-tone green Caddy HT as well John; one of BRK's best.

Yes, this is an outstanding Brooklin model. I am repainting the two toned blue version. In order to repaint it, I had to disassemble it completely. I marveled at all the added details they incorporated into this model. On past Brooklin enhancements, I normally have added much needed bare metal details to the Brooklins but on this one, none needed. The only add was to enhance the headlights. I am refinishing it in burgundymaroon poly over opal grey with dark red/burgundy interior. I will post the results soon.
Not to get off topic, but this a great rendition offered by the Brooklin that shows a level of fine and accurate detailing that unfortunately is not still being produced by them today!

Yes, this Caddy is well done. But I'm not sure I agree that Brooklin's level of detail is not as great as it once was. If anything, IMO, they have upped their game considerably. Other than a few club models made to the club's specifications and a bit less detailed than Brooklin's new standard issues, this would be an example of what Brooklin is currently producing.

Nice to hear from you John and hope you are on the mend. I too have this green one and think it is great. The green is absolutely period correct

@jkuvakas I have both models and like them both. Not sure how to compare one to the other because of the wide cost difference.

@bob-jackman, I agree. The newer one is definitely more expensive. But it is more detailed, not less.

@jkuvakas The visor hides the problem of the windshield being too high on the original version. Overall it seems far better and the chrome parts look brighter. When this issue has been produced? I don't recall having heard of it.

@nickies, it was a limited edition for Second City, from last year.
