I picked this model up in 2022. I already had the original release, but the price of this detailed model was just too good to pass up. Besides, you can never have enough of these excellent "Shoebox" Ford models.

1951 Ford Custom Deluxe Victoria Hardtop Coupe, BRK 51 in Greenbrier Green & Seafoam Green

1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG0
1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG1
1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG4
1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG5
1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG6
1951 Ford Crest Line Hdtp DG7

Two things:

1) It's so nice to see a Brooklin '51 Ford "detailed."    It's almost heartbreaking to see one NOT detailed.

2) I've always thought the term "shoebox"  referred to '49-'51 Fords, 2-dr sedans ONLY - custom or stock.  Turns out, John is quite correct: "Shoebox"  covers ALL 1949 - 1951 Fords.

- There's always something to learn, thanks John.   😎

@chris I agree Chris. My late friend Robert Rogers scraped mine for me along with many other Brooklins and turned them into real jewels. This Ford and the 54 Chevrolet BelAir took to the detailing and it made them something really special.

The thought of scraping the chrome trim has always intrigued me. It seems to me, that a steady hand and attention to fine detailing would be required. I've never known anyone that does this level of crafting.

@jcarnutz, our very own Chuck Rose has been known to expertly detail a model. So has Roger Tennyson in the UK.

One of my favorite early Brooklins.  The detailing looks fantastic!
