I thought I had completed Brooklin's Buick Collection-BC 1934-1939 about a little over a year ago with the purchase of a 1938 Buick Special Touring Sedan in black, up until then it had proven to be somewhat elusive. Then last December I learned that the '37 Buick Special Phaeton had been issued in a darker maroon color. The photos I saw piqued my interest, so I went looking for one. It was fairly easy to find and arrived a week ago. This was an excellent model already and I was very happy with the brighter maroon version I had. The darker maroon of the 2nd edition is excellent and to me, looks more closely like the '37 Buick color chart. Either way, I am very pleased to have them both.
