After the huge Mark IV & Mark V cars of the 70s, FMC downsized their cars following GMs lead in 1977. With the full-size cars of 1980, all Ford, Lincoln & Mercury cars were smaller. The Mark Series cars were not spared and took on a boxier appearance like all the others. This model from NEO Scale Models is a very nice example of that downsizing experience. While the Mark VI doesn't have the presence of the previous two generations, it still has plenty to say. The Mark VI also brought the Mark Series it's 1st 4-door versions (of course, you have to forget about the 58-60 Mark IIIs, IVs & Vs, which Lincoln did, LOL!)

Nice model which I have in silver. As I look back on my NEO models I gain more respect for how good these models really are.
@bob-jackman So true, Bob. Most of their models were excellent.
This looks like a superb replica of the Lincoln automobile by NEO and in a great period color combination ! In a general sense, I was not a fan of the downsizing and squaring-off of automobiles back in that era.
