These wonderful Tom Dirnberger Imperial models have just arrived. Tom always choses some great colors for his offerings, these models are no exception. Offered in Rosewood Metallic w/black interior & top as well as in Royal Turquoise w/white interior & top. Both colors are available in a Limited Edition of 42 open/18 closed)

I couldn't decide which one I was most interested in, so I went with one of each, open & closed. Well worth it as they are definitely very distinctive colors.

1964 Imperial Crown Convertible in Royal Turquoise, LE #22 of 60

1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU0
1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU1
1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU4
1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU5
1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU6
1964 Imperial Crown Conv TU7

What beautiful 1/43 Imperials ! It would be extremely difficult to choose the best color and top up or top down  ......so you did exactly the right thing ... get them both !

@renato-bardi That’s too bad. Even though that may be a small detail but still essential. Glad they’re sending them out, hopefully, a person with steady hands is included to position and glue them in place! Lol

@chazy-r It appears that the "glass" is there (or are my eyes playing tricks?), just the frame needs to be attached.  Should be a fairly easy fix.

@jack-dodds Hey Jack maybe so, but might be an easy fix for you or me but can possibly be a challenge for others. IMO

This is why tweezers were created.  Wink

Yes, it seems that the vent windows are missing. I did not catch this when I took the photos &/or posted them. Unfortunately, I don't have them, but the situation is being taken care of. The Rosewood closed version was also missing one but that was one was inside the model, so repair has been made. They seem to be very delicate.

Also, did not see John’s unboxing and the vents are very present. Must be a QA issue.

@jack-dodds I have lost more spare parts using tweezers!  I think I need either better tweezers or more steady hands.

Michael;  For me it wasn't the tweezers that caused me anguish, it was the pile carpet under my hobby table!  I finally wised up and changed rooms.  Lol.
