I absolutely LOVE the Step-down Hudsons and just added this gorgeous '52 Hornet Hollywood coupe in "Texas Tan" metallic to my collection - one of a limited edition of 350:

What a beauty ! People certainly "Stepped up to a Step-down Hudson" in those years.
Nice addition Barry. I waited for years to find the MOC and was fortunate to find one at a fair price two years ago.

This one had a minor paint chip on the windshield pillar and was offered at a low price because of it. I used one of those wood furniture touch-up markers - the color match was perfect - and it's virtually imperceptible now!

That's a great slogan, and the Step-down Hudson was a great design!

This one is my favorite Brooklin Hudson...I love the 2drht. body style.
By any chance does JK have friends in the Sir Vival paint shop?
@mg-harv I really like that one, Harv! Does the display base come with a clear cover as well?

Sense of taste perhaps, but sense of sight? Hmmmmm......
@jack-dodds But of course! And the model hinge works too so you can wiggle the two parts if you want.
