Another "Holy Grail" model for me...
When I started looking at Lansdowne models, this one really fascinated me. It went on my wish list, but as things sometimes go, finding one wasn't as easy. All things considered; this model just doesn't come up available very often. It proved to be a bit difficult for me to add one. I've seen the different color options available from Pathfinder Models, but the Lansdowne in these colors was the one I really wanted. I'm not sure how many of these were actually made, and for those collector's that have one, they must hang onto them because I've seen very few available.
Late last month, I came across one on eBay that was priced higher than I would've liked. I watched it for a couple of weeks, hoping to come across another for less. That didn't happen, so I went for it. Now that it has arrived, I am thrilled with the overall look of the model. Now I've never seen one of these in person, actually I'm don't believe I've ever seen an Armstrong Siddeley of any model or year, but that doesn't always factor into a car that I find interesting.
I also came across a Matrix version of this car in an earlier 1953 version of the 346 Sapphire, similar colors. I hope to bring them together in a photoshoot soon for a comparison.

Pathfinder did this Siddeley in 2-tone green and also in the light cream/black combo as I recall.
