I picked this one late last year, it looked like an intriguing model. As with many models in collection, I didn't know much about the Invicta brand. The initial company began production in 1925 and continued through 1935, dissolving in 1938. A rebirth in 1946 brought the Black Prince. This particular 1:1 was built in very small numbers, less than 20, which more than half of those built are known to still exist. Overall, the 1:1 looks to be an impressive car. I've never seen one. The model has captured that elegance very well.

The model looks amazing. Great car. Invicta was very interesting brand in auto history. So sad that it is forgotten.

Esval made very nice miniature. I'm not a fan of resin but it seems to be wonderful.

Donald Healey piloted this Invicta to victory in the 1931 Monte Carlo Rally.

I have this model as well and love the design. Apparently an extravagant car when it was introduced after the war. Too rich for most pockets in Britain then, but certainly would have made a statement! Thanks for posting.
