This is the 2nd of the John White crafted models that I recently added to my collection. Unfortunately, this model has been neglected of late. Its arrival proved to be somewhat of a concern. The model came with a few loose pieces as it was not packed very well. In addition, the model was very dirty. Now after some reattaching and cleaning the model looks much better. It does need a bit of polishing which I'll do later.

John, I have a question about cleaning the model. Did you take it apart, wash the parts with soap and water, and dry with soft cloth or do something less or more complicated?

For this one, I did not take it apart. I might still when I go to polishing it. I was fairly pleased with the cleaning as it was dirty, but not filthy as some have been.
I usually start with foam-tipped swabs and warm water. I don't use soap as it can leave a residue. If I come across a stubborn stain or such, the same swabs dipped in a small amount of rubbing alcohol will usually take care of it and it has never damaged anything. The alcohol will also help to remove any grime or residue on bare metal parts as well. After the cleaning, I buff with a small pad. This usually does the trick. If more polishing is needed, A Novus compound is good.

What color is the interior John?
It's the same color as the body.

Thanks for your very nice reply. I have a question about taking a Brooklin model apart, which maybe you or someone else can answer. Are the windows and/or windshield glued to the body? I have been thinking about enhancing a Brooklin 1958 Buick, specifically the painted window trim. I would like to know this, before deciding to start.

Careful about washing Brooklins as their chrome pieces are attached with a water soluble white glue. That is great if you are completely disassembling the model for a repaint or modification but it does take a few minutes soaking in warm water to release all the parts.
