I picked this model up recently and while I don't know much about this auto manufacturer and I only have this model of their cars.

Issued by Mini-Champs, it is well done and looking at it, the 1:1 must have been pretty impressive.

If you are interested in learning more about Delage, they have a decent web site. They were bought by Delahaye in the mid 1930's. Today they have a hypercar (D12) and a racing arm that participates in the European Le Mans series.

I just received this very model, from HobbyDragon.  It is truly a magnificent automobile and Chapron is one of my top three designers.

Another beauty from the D8 series is this 1936 D8 120 Grand Sport Cabriolet, also bodied by Chapron:

It is the one car for which I might be tempted to sell my soul...

I have a several hundred photos of Delage automobiles, as it has been a favorite for many years.

@hobbydragon   It was well-earned, HD.  It is a fantastic model and I am very pleased to have it in my little group of Delage models.

About the model: this is a high-end resin-cast "Mullin Museum" series from Minichamps. I've posted their catalogue/leaflet at my collection's page in this forum.

Sad to say, John, but rear-view mirrors are missing from your specific model. Hopefully you can obtain and glue them back (there are many sellers that sell photo-etched parts for 1/43 models)

Minichamps also did a closed top version in 1/18 scale.

Delage 030
Delage 029 001
Delage2 003
Delage2 025 001

Repainted, the car appeared in the movie "An American in Paris" with Gene Kelly:

@hobbydragon  I was wondering why his model didn't have the side mirrors.  On another note, you mentioned sellers offer replacement parts for 1:43s?  Names, addresses, family history, etc., please!

@rich-sufficool   I found one, but the price is substantially more than my current budget allows, so it will have to be a dream for the moment.  It appears to be a static model and is this true?

@gdh there are many of photo-etched parts at ebay, but I use to buy them from some obscure Russian guy. And getting them is more and more difficult with ongoing wars here and there;(

@hobbydragon   I'll see what I can find on the US side of the pond, for I have not found any here.  I need two 1:43 Bentley badges.
