I was just looking at the Facebook site for The Brooklin & SMTS Collective page and another member posted his turquoise & white version of Conquest's '57 Imperial. I really love this model and have two of the 4drs and 2 convertibles. Right now, however, this black 4dr is the only one I have photos of ready. I thought I'd share it today as well.

Just after I posted these photos, I went looking for the other three in my photo files, I was surprised to find a photo set for each of the others as well. Now I'll need to get them ready to post soon.

I have the metallic burgundy / grey roof version and it is among my absolute favourites. The detail of rear lights etc. is amazing, but much comes down to the design of the actual car: truly Imperial.
1957 Imperials were said to be Virgil Exner's favorite Foward Look designs. I've never owned own, but have seen many... big, impressive cars. Nice pics John, it looks a bit short to me, but I KNOW it weighs a TON! Looks good in black. 😎 😎
They were big, formal cars. Especially in black! Nice photo array John!
I have the Conquest two door hardtop in brown with a beige insert on the top.
Very nice one for sure ! A huge and extremely attractive and impressive giant of an automobile/Brooklin model.
And the very rare Imperial Ghia built limousine. Only about 13 of these 1:1 cars built in the model year. All done in Italy and imported to the USA. IIRC they were almost double the price of a Cadillac limousine at the time.

You're correct about the exclusivity of these Imperial beauties, so naturally Michael Corleone had to have one. 😎 😎 😎
