Recently Brooklin Models has issued some new models in their Lansdowne Series. These new models started with the Austin Montego, which was issued in sedan and station wagon body styles. That was followed up with the Austin Mini Metro hatchback and then arriving soon will be an Austin Mini Metro Panel Delivery and a MG Mini Metro.
OK, I am intrigued by these new models, although I've never seen any of them in real form and I'm not sure any of them were ever imported to the US. With that, they are still very interesting. The Montego's remind me of cars by Honda, Nisson and Toyota that ran our roads in the 80s. Now as far as the Mini Metros, we had little cars like that here too, but to be honest, I didn't pay them much attention, and I can't think of any by name.
So, this brings me the post. This model arrived in November of last year, Brooklin issued it in a few colors, this one appealed to me the most.

I might not want one in my garage but I'd love one for a collection! Sharp little car. LOVE the color - great pics John!
These are great models and a great entry point for white metal in 1/43. They are well-detailed, produced in small numbers, and reasonably priced. Nice pics, John.

I drove a red one in the UK in 1981.
Series of Metro shows that Brooklin was able to rebirth Lansdowne range. These models are abdolutely incredible and are much better than resin from China. Hope Brooklin will make more models and I look foward to see 70s American cars.
