Post #01
As I have stated before, the Buick brand has always been a favorite and important part of my collection. It is the 2nd largest group of models represented in my collection. After my favorite models from the late 30s, a couple of years in the 50s are my next favorite models.
The 1st is 1957. Conquest has provided an excellent selection of different models. The Century is represented in the Riviera Hardtop, a convertible and the Caballero Estate Wagon. Along with that, a Roadmaster 75 Hardtop Sedan was also offered. All of these are in my collection with a total of 10 models, and the Century Riviera Hardtop is the very 1st higher-end white metal model I purchased after starting with Brooklin Models.

Now NEO offered the '57 Buick as well in the Century name as the Caballero Estate Wagon and the Roadmaster in convertibles and hardtops. They are unfortunately, under scaled a bit so I don't display them with the Conquest models.
The 2nd represented year is 1959. I look at the '59 Buick as a radical departure from everything Buick was previously. The bold styling makes a very distinctive statement. The '59 Buick was 1st offered by Western Models and later from WMCE. This bold Buick style has 11 examples in my collection. The Buick models include Electra, Electra 225 and the Invicta. The body styles offered were the hardtop coupe, convertible, hardtop sedan and a station wagon.

As with the '57, the '59 was also offered in one body style by Kess Models. It is an Electra 225 Hardtop Sedan.

Buicks on Parade. Two knock-out gorgeous cars! Great pics John!
John, I share your fondness for Buicks and add any model I can find in all scales especially from the thirties through the sixties.
‘57 is beautiful and the ‘59 has trim from tailight to tailight all the way around the car and over the headlights and grille;
and those fins!

Both are beautiful designs for sure (prefer the '57). It's hard to believe they are just 2 years apart; they are so very different
As usual, nice photos. I also have the Conquest 1957 Century Riviera, but in two tone blue. My 1959 Buick Invicta is a white convertible by WMCE. They are among the earlier models I bought from Buz and were the first Buick 1/43 scale models I purchased.

Exceptionally nice Buick replicas shown here. Great models in any display and, after all, they are Buicks !
