The story on this model is that in 2019, I picked up this model on an oldtoystoreusa.com auction on eBay. At that time, this dealer was helping to sell the Dick Browne collection for his family. I bid an amount that would pretty much assure me the win. The look of this model blew me away, and being an avid Pierce-Arrow fan, I was hooked. Once I received it and posted photos, I got several replies here and on Facebook concerning this model. It was believed to be a Factory color sample and thought to be a 1 of 1. For me, that was awesome, and I was very pleased with this model.

Now here we are, four years later, and I am browsing on eBay one late evening. Couldn't sleep, so... spending money always works, LOL! Anyway, I've come across another one of those 1 of 1 Pierce-Arrows. It is set as an auction with several days to go yet. I placed a watch on it, and then contemplated what I had found and what I wanted to do about it. A few days later, with a decision made, I placed another one of those "fairly certain to win bids" and waited.  I won it.

The model arrived today. It is exactly like the other one, including the box. OK, so my 1 of 1 has become a 1 of 2, or maybe more, who knows. I now have two of these gems and they are awesome models. But even in my collection, I have fairly few duplicates, and none are exactly the same. When this happens, I usually change something about one of them. Doing what I do most often, I put a set of black wall tires on one of them. As it usually does, this gives the model a whole different attitude. I like it and the pair.

Here they are... 1935 Pierce-Arrow Silver Arrow Model 845 Coupe - BRK 100x (now did Pierce-Arrow offer this model in white, I don't know, but it is a great color)

1935 Pierce Arrw Silv Arrw W PR1
1935 Pierce Arrw Silv Arrw W PR2
1935 Pierce Arrw Silv Arrw W PR3
1935 Pierce Arrw Silv Arrw W PR4

Both are very nice; I prefer it with no whitewalls.

It looks superb ! I like it either way, so 1 of 1 or 1 of 2, it's a keeper.

Congrats, John. You have an almost monopoly on these! While I prefer the white walls, the black walls add a sporty flair.
