I know I've shown this model before (and to be honest-I'll most likely show it again) This is a wonderful model that I am very proud to have in my collection. I acquired this model from the Dick Browne Collection. My understanding is this model was presented to Dick as a gift from Brooklin. It is a rare factory color sample, and as of right now, 1 of 3 known to exist. Since I acquired this example, a 2nd one surfaced that I now have as well. A 3rd copy of this model is in Gianluigi Cappi's Brooklin collection.

I have the model in maroon with the side mounts and silver without. As I have said in the past, Brooklin models of the thirties are terrific.

That's a beautiful model, John! I'm glad it landed in the hands of a collector who appreciates it. Dick would be happy!

@bob-jackman

I only have two Brooklin models from the thirties, but I agree with you, they are terrific.
