These models are a little different from what I normally collect, a slight departure if you will from the core of my collection. As I concentrate mainly on American cars from the 1940s-1980s. With that however, I do occasionally come across something that catches my eye and I find it too intriguing to pass up.Â
That's where the interest in these two came from. Now a little back story on the WHY I was looking. Some weeks ago, another collector posted photos of the Alfa Romeo BAT series. I found them intriguing and while they weren't a priority, I figured I'd pick up a couple of them eventually. That's what I was doing, looking for a BAT 5, starting with the 1st one. I decided that I was going to look into the Bizarre version of the BAT 5. Although I've never seen any of them in person, at this time, I felt it was the better choice for me between it and the white metal version from SMTS.Â
In that search, I came across one of these, which of course led to the 2nd one. The pair are an interesting set with their sexy little curves. They are both pre-owned and with a couple of slight imperfections, no worries though, I do too, LOL! Now, with only two other Fiat models in my collection, these join a limited group.
Oh, by the way, I did pick up the BAT 5 along with another Alfa Romeo with sexy curves, a 53 Disco Volante. They aren't displayed currently as I need to redefine the available space to showcase them properly.

Now there is a couple of models I have never seen before!
Thanks for not blaming me for these 2 purchases! 😉 But they are right up my alley! 😎 I love the coupe shapes!
Those are both really nice. Something I'd be tempted by but I'm sticking to my US only collecting criteria. So far. I just can't open that door....
