I have the top down version,while I think not quit as popular as the top up version like the idea of exposing the interior to full view….

Great little model!
Still amazing to realize (well, at least to me ) that all Duesenbergs were made in just one year, but it took 10 years to sell them all.
I've had an ongoing (off/on ) 1/18 metal (Hubley-Gabrial kit ) Duesenberg project going for over a year. I'm trying to "upgrade & refine" most of the "crude" elements of these 60 + year old castings. I'm also adding weight to anything hollow. This alone weighs in at close to 2 pounds! 😀 😀

@jkuvakas I was there in Chicago when you discovered just how fragile the larger scale version of this model was… 😭
