From My Collection... The Significance of an Imperial

John Merritt · 2024-01-08T22:19:21Z

As collector's, we've been very fortunate. In the last few years, some wonderful Imperial models have been made. When I started collecting this scale, only a few were offered by Brooklin as well as a couple of others. My main area of interest is the years when Imperial became its own brand, especially those in the late 50s and early 60s. Those years are very well represented now with most of them coming from GLM. One of the most recent is this 1962 gem. 1962 Imperial Crown Convertible - GLM Classic Series - Limited Edition #044 of 109 in Sapphire Blue
