Beautiful model John. It appears every "over-the-top" styling cue has been faithfully reproduced. Chrysler Corp. threw every designer trick in house at this car. Imperial would never again be so radical. Even the "busslebacks" in the 80's were no match (at all) for these wonderful Imperials that, incidentally, were built like Sherman tanks!

That’s a real beauty, John. Yes, it was over the top in design yet that’s what made cars exciting. I always loved those free standing lamps fore and aft.Thanks for posting this one, John.

Great pics, thanks John. This particular green color on the '61 Imperial was very popular in my region back in the 60s.
