I just had a delightful in-person chat with Fedor (Fred) Eliseev from Russia. It's great to know that there are collectors in other parts of the world who share our passion. As Karl shared with us, Fedor has been putting together articles for MAR. I am hoping to do a series of interviews with him!

There has been a substantial 1/43 community in Russia for decades. I traded for a lot of models in the 1970s and 1980s, resulting in a nearly complete collection of Saratov diecasts plus a few others. Too bad Putin had to make everything suck for everybody.
