From the editor;

"Hi everyone.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and that you can enjoy a happy and healthy 2024.

Attached is the first edition of the HMAC Gearbox newsletter for 2024 and I hope it will make interesting reading.

My New Years wish is for more entries in the club's `virtual' model competition. This is mainly because we get a chance to see some of the great models HMAC members have at home that probably won't show up at the club meetings be it due to their fragility, or they never match a category in the `real' model comp.

One of the things I enjoy about magazines from our friends in other clubs, is the chance to see such a wide range of models that are shown on display at their meetings.

So again, have a great new year and keep up the good work with both of the Club's model competitions.

Cheers, Terry."

Thanks JK and Tom, another good one. I found the Audi 100 article especially interesting as I own an Audi and did consider seriously buying the Audi 100 about 1970 when it first appeared in North America. That slot racing track is amazing.
