FWIW some of the recent GFCC releases are on sale 36% to 42% off ($45 to $49)
1954 Coupe Deville
1955 Coupe Deville
1956 Buick Roadmaster
1959 Bonneville
Their models look good. How do they compare to the competition?
@whodeytink Depends who's the competition. They are several steps up from the earlier editions of these cars. They're diecast which is a big plus for me. They have actual shiny chromed details and the interiors are well done too. They're better than Minichamps and IXO's, possibly better than Premium X. I was saving up my money to buy these at + $70 each. I think they are a bargain at $45 for the Cadillacs and $49 for the Buick, The Bonnevilles are $49 too. The manufacturer/seller didn't seem too happy selling at these prices.
These are some really nice models. Not perfect, but a big improvement over the 1st releases.
I have several of the '56 Buick Roadmasters, the '54 & '55 Cadillac Coupe de Villes and a couple of the 57 Pontiac Bonneville models. Here's a couple of them.
The '55 Cadillacs are missing the chrome strips on the rear above the bumper but otherwise it's very nice and that should be an easy fix.

These look excellent ! I am very happy to have GFCC's 1956 Buick Roadmaster, which is a terrific car and 1/43 model.
@whodeytink If you look carefully at the pictures on Ebay, the 1st generation is really a toy and the 2nd version is better but definitely not a precision model. The bumper castings lines are not smooth and other details as the chrome trim, the wipers and door handles are out of scale.
In my opinion, they are just shelf fillers not worth the discounted price.
In hand, I am very pleased with mine. As no model is perfect, they are way more than decent representations of the 1:1.

Excellent point, John. I am very happy with my Buick Roadmaster, too, and it photographs very well.
