Anybody has an update on this model ?
I hope the pictures I saw are just a very early prototype because otherwise they will miss the boat on this one. The Brooklins were very rough but the Design Studio was very nice and well detailed when I had them about 10 years ago.
Also, what seems weird is the antenna is on the left fender instead of roof mounted and the hood ornament is completely wrong. There is also this ugly sun visor. I am sure some of you guys have updated info about what this model will look.
It will have been a prototype. The finished product will be accurate and beautiful as per the Goldvarg track record.
I agree with Jack. Never underestimate Sergio's ability to nail the model before release.
Hello "Nickies",
The photos are, as I always do, from the very first prototype, and as per Jack Dodds and Mark Sweeney comments, they are right, as the finished product will be accurate.
Let me disagree with you as I don't think there is anything wrong with the shape and details on this model. Yes, there are details to improve as I always do from the very first prototype, to the third or four prototype, until I am satisfied myself with the product.
Regarding the sun visor, it could be ugly for you, but not for all the collectors.
That's why I provide two color choices, and one with and one without the sun visor.
The quantities sold for each version are very similar, so there are are lots of collectors out there that like sun visors. You will not be disappointed.I don't think "we will miss the boat on this one", as you said.
Best regards.
Sergio Goldvarg
the finished product will be accurate.
Sergio, this one will be a 'gotta have'!!!
a two-tone fastback with all the attached jewelry?
I'm in like Flynn!
I was around when the 1/1 was new and I remember seeing those sun visors occasionally which were dealer options. I can't say that I remember the radio antenna being anywhere but on the roof. As Ben said this is a must have for me and I too want mine with all of the jewelry.
