Always great videos John. New Mercurys were undoubtedly in showrooms in late 1938, but 1939 was the first year for Mercury. In fact, years ago when I was actively pursuing collector cars, I met a guy who owned the 20th Mercury to ever roll off the production line. Supposedly, it was once owned by Don Garlits.
A fine look at these two Mercury beauties from Goldvarg, John. They really stand out on the turntable and their realism is astonishing.
Another great and informative clip JK; thank you. Btw, my curiosity is piqued by the car situated at your left hand as the clip concludes....is that a '62 Olds?
@jack-dodds, thanks! It's a '64 Wildcat, video coming up!

It looked like the silver side band was fairly wide but maybe its just a reflection or distortion. The aqua/white suggested it was perhaps the '64 Impala.
