It IS, what it IS .. IMO it's not the color, it's the model type..

I'm more than happy with those choices.

My vote is '65 Mercury: turquoise [single color]; '70 Galaxie: Bronze, with or w/o white.

+1 Prefer single turquoise color on Mercury but good choices!

I wonder if it is "yellow" or "meadowlark yellow"?...the latter I hope.

Do you mean that the cars are all Fords?

Not at all ... I would just like to see some late 60s and early 70s mid-sized ...

or compact muscle and not some standard, run-o-the-mill or mundane family boat or station wagon (just my 2 cents).

Cutlass 442 W31, perhaps?? But I'll take some 60s boats for now.

That upcoming Torino with the Sportback roofline and likely Cobrajet scoop is a good start.

Agree ... except for the 60s boats comment .. I am however anxious to see the finished Falcon Sprint.

I prefer 2drhts but like station wagons myself and if muscle cars get done I would certainly buy them without a doubt. But I notice that many collectors really like sedans and, for example, pre-war cars, which interest me much less. I think the desired answer for model companies is to collectively produce a cross section of eras and body types in order to maintain the general collector interest. I am prepared to simply not buy certain releases and patiently wait for what I really like (although I am not very good at being patient! lol). I am encouraged lately though as it seems the 50s and 60s are going to be well represented. The 60s are long overdue IMO.

And please, no more 80s and 90s [unless a Ferrari or Buick Grand National/ GNX].

Did they make "real" cars after '72? Lol.
