Very nice ! What great automobiles and 1/43 models. Some excellent subjects and fine replicas being made here.
Great photos - it's always fun for me to see where and how our models were made!
Thank you Sergio. Always fun to see the prototypes especially the 55 Pontiac Star Chief hardtop.
This is an amazing tribute to an outstanding artist. Furthermore, a smart business man who understood there was no more future in metal models and this was time to move to more profitable medias.
Brooklin's should have done the same or at least invested in a Resin Collection Series to be more competitive and survive.
Brooklin has had its struggles. But, as collectors, we would miss someone who was still producing white metal models. I understand that they are not everyone's passion. But they are for many of us, and those who still love white metal can appreciate Mr. B and his commitment to Brooklin and our hobby.
Add Sergio's passion to Mr. B's, and collectors are having a field day adding high-quality 1.43s to their collections.

BTW, there are a few prototypes in Sergio's post that would have made beautiful models!

ALL materials for making models and replicas have their strengths and possible drawbacks. I am glad all types of replicas (diecast, plastic, resin, pressed steel and white metal) are being made and I happily have some of each.
