Dugu Miniautotoys was a brand of diecast metal models, mostly in 1:43 scale, made in Piedmont, Italy, north of Turin. The company made models for the Carlo Biscaretti di Ruffia Automobile Museum in Turin. They were made from 1961–1974. Dugu translates to Owl in English. Dugu made mainly Italian cars but also a few American classics and a Rolls Royce. My favourite is the 1907 Fiat 130HP F2 "Grand Prix” which was produced from 1965 to 1971. American cars included the 1931 Duesenberg J and the 1937 Cord 812 SC Phaeton, both in many colours, open and closed. I built this same vehicle from a Pocher 1/8th scale kit in the 1970s. My first Pocher build. That model is currently the centre piece of my son's collection.

Hi Charles, at this point the plastic and rubber seem welded together. I have kept them so may try a few things. I am also checking my model wire wheel sets to see if one is large enough to at least look nice. Thanks for the suggestion.
