Harvey...EVRAT question
Harvey,
This is the first time I have dealt with this company.
The models arrived today, and one of them arrived broken. Parts flying around loose in the box.
Am I in for a major hassle dealing with this?
What has been your experience with EVRAT. thanks...
.
Sorry to hear about this John. I only have two Evrat models.
While the Type 57 arrived in fine shape, my Bugatti Type 37A had a few very small loose parts to reattach and the engine was rattling around, but no major damage as you describe. All I can say is to notify the seller and see what transpires. If you paid by credit card, and the seller doesn't refund, there might be an avenue there.
This is the Jay Leno 37A I had to repair, just little parts under the hood.

Thanks, Harvey.
I trust they will be honorable...

John, please write to him. I have only heard good things about the fellow.
Thanks, Albert.
That's good to know.

EVRAT followup
Yves Evrat responded immediately and offered to replace the damaged model.
Very kind of him, and it's a relief that the process was friendly and hassle-free.
I'm adding another of his Bugatti models to the box he is sending containing the replacement model, because the EVRAT models are truly stunning.
Thank you Harvey and Albert for turning me on to this excellent line of scale models.
