Help! Just today I received a fine 1:43 kit, but I can't completely identify the producer. (PICs)

No directions, no papers, no box, but lots and lots of finely detailed parts. My "go to expert" Jerry Rettig's AMERICAN WHEELS lists no Resolution 43. My research on the net this afternoon found a couple of early sales on the 'bay of a '47 Cadillac convertible and elsewhere a mention of a Resolution Bugatti and a suggestion that it was of German origins, but nothing definite. I found in a few places pictures and mentions of mostly Holden Austrialia 1:43 cars by Revolution Models, and I just had an e-mail from Tony Hanna in Australia. His present firm is Ace Models, mostly 1:43 completed Australian cars. They are resin and show up on the 'bay and elsewhere. Beautiful, but he assures me they do not include the '47 Cadillac limo. He says he has faint memories and a firm called Revolution 43, probably in England in the 1980s.
I just went back to past sales on the 'bay and found the '47 convertible. The original ad had a small picture of the box.

Looks like Revolution 43 was German, and I see it is not West Germany, which suggests a date of 1990 or later.
Does anyone have information, a possible source of same, or even a hint? These parts look very well made.
I appreciate any help.

Isn't that the inexpensive line of VF models? Long gone.

It is. VF Modelautomobile was a small operation in unified Germany owned
By Volker Feldcamp. He mostly produced replica Cadillacs, 1947 and 1959 including limousines. I had one of his handbuilt (non-kit) '47 Convertibles in white metal. It was nicely detailed and finished. I understood it to be a white metal version of the older Provence Moulage issued in resin in the 1980's. I put a photograph of this model on pg.152 in the chapter about builders in my 2008 book, GM in Miniature.
I do not know why Feldcamp chose to market these models under the "Revolution" label. Others may have more info about this builder. Ten years ago there was "lively discourse" about VF and others in this very forum.
David, I am not surprised if this turns out to be a nice model. The convertible certainly was a beaut.

The last picture includes a "Revolution 43" with other decals, and looks just like the box side that I found on eBay. Here is the eBay Cadillac, also.

That seems to tie my model's origins to Germany and perhaps to the year 1999. I will continue to search for more information.

Randall, this is probably a dead thread, but I just wanted to thank you for your good answer. You are exactly right, and I checked this information every way I could. As for the model, it's a "one of these days" project. Again, many thanks. David
