Here's an idea for another police car from Brooklin.
Today's Hemmings Daily had a fine article, with clear pictures, on Canton, Ohio's long-serving 1937 Studebaker police car. Built with bullet proof windows and heavy steel elsewhere, this black sedan saw police duty from 1937 into the 1960's. It even has a pierced windshield for rifle firing from inside. (seriously, BRK has done a fine '37 Studebaker coupe, and I know there are collectors who like police cars.)
No picture this time, as the only '37 Studebaker on my shelves in a pickup truck (from another BRK division) and it's not armored.
Enjoy!
I just read it - great story..........
My dad was 7 years old then, in Canton!!! Wonder if he ever saw it? 🙂
