A couple months ago I started a new publishing project- to explore history of the forgotten names in white metal history. I guess, many collectors know about Brooklin, Western Models, SMTS. If you are deeply involved to scoring Classic British cars you may be know about Crossway, Kenna, Pathfinder and Gems & Cobwebs. Who is interested in American cars I assume knows Motor City, Precision Miniatures, 43rd Avenue. But such names as Cheshire Scale Models, Handsome Models, Sanger Engineering, SAIS, SAMS, Idea 3 and many others are forgotten and there is a very little information even in books.

I apologise for so long introduction. I think that Tom Dirnberger is a very famous among collectors of North America. His company True Dimensions made absolutely spectacular white metal Kaiser Darrin. Only 15 years later Lansdownr released its model but it was much more simple.

MAR online has recently published my article about history of True Dimensions. Tom Dirnberger was very kind and answered on all questions. Many thanks to him for a help.

Unfortunately, there is no feedback from MAR onlinr readers and I suspect that this topic isn't interesting for them. In any case ar this moment I work at the next article about the models which are very little known.

Hope you will find history of True Dimensions intetesting and exciting.
