That looks really sharp in white with the red/white interior..

I like that a lot better than my silver model.

Paul Patterson?

Please forgive my ignorance, Dillon, but I'm not familiar with "Paul Patterson's HT models." Is this a detailed Brooklin?

No, Paul Patterson produced Highway Travelers models.

They were made for him in England by Steve Overy's Illustra Models.

(Pic) Do you think that Steve Overy could remake the HT 61 Plymouth Fury hdtp?

I read that only 38 models were produced in the hardtop?

Second that request. The model looks many times better than the 1:1 version.

Why not ask him? Paul owns the masters and reads this forum regularly.

A good idea, but wasn't it reported on the Forum that Paul was using the last of his 61 Fury parts?

These were parts already cast in kit form.

38 Fury hardtops and about 100 convertibles, I seem to recall.

I asked Paul about bringing back the Fury.

His response in a word...No. I believe that the cost and time commitment (which is considerable) was not something he wanted to get into, which I can understand.

Its a shame as the Highway Travelers '61 Fury is a terrific model that I am lucky to have in both its convertible and hardtop form. I have photographed it disassembled and built up and hope to profile it in a future book. Perhaps our moderator may provide a photo of his 1 of 3 version?

I have tried to contact Paul a few times about the Fury and to thank him for his models both via email and through this forum. His former email is no longer active. Perhaps he will reply if he sees this post.
