I purchased my first Motor City model today....anyone have the green 1941 Plymouth?
It was just too nice to pass!
I really like all the American cars from 1941.
Pics as soon as I get it.

Caution, Motor City models are addictive. I have many in my collection only because I bought them years ago when I could afford them.

I have this car. Very well done and accurate. Same color.
I too have many, 61 to be exact,plus their sub series, but bought them years ago. They are really very good models.

I have this car but it is labled as a USA Model
Is that the same as Motor City? Also I find that Durham Classics did a '41 coupe as well as a convertible coupe, which I have in red since it is a replica of a car my parents had in the 40s.

Yes Bob, they are quite pricey now... I have been buying Conquest and WMCE lately, so these are a step above.
I don't see myself buying a lot of them because they are so expensive, but this '41 Plymouth has so much damn charm.

Yes John...it is my understanding that the name USA models were just a group name that Motor City gave that series of models.
Something like Brooklin does groups like Lansdowne.
Somebody please chime in and correct me if I am mistaken.

The station wagon in this color is a limited edition of 30 made by Conquest for
JM Modelautos. I was luck enough to snap it up on Ebay. I believe it has been made in different colors that are more available..The convertible is a Durham Classics model that I won on a Vectis auction. Both are very hard to find.Just keep looking.
