The danger is not you picking it up but a well-meaning friend when you are not looking.

Despite a statement on this forum, this was a genuine fear voiced not only by Brooklim but by Minimarque as well. There is also a matter of paint chipping when replacing the top on the body. John Roberts is not a Brooklin employee and is free to do what he wishes to with the models he customizes.

I have a white-metal '62 Minimarque Vette made ~1992 for George Pekarik with the removable roof

Renato, Nigel doesn't do email but I have made the suggestion known through Amanda and through John Roberts, who is a consultant to BRK and a good friend of Nigel's. I know that Nigel is always concerned about keeping the costs of his models in line, and has been reluctant to offer the choice of tops due to the added costs of labor as well as materials.
